SBPL is inviting local artists to submit works for October 2022 Art Show, Through Many Windows: A World Reimagined in conjunction with SB Reads programming. 

Submit examples of your work with an artist’s statement of 500 words or less expressing how your work responds to the prompt to envision their own world or another future, possible world, catastrophic or otherwise, and answer the question: “What if?” or otherwise relates to the themes of The Fifth Season. Artists may submit up to 3 pieces for consideration. Submissions will be juried by representatives of the Santa Barbara Public Library Foundation, Friends of the Santa Barbara Public Library, an artist from the community, and SBPL staff.
